Your level of experience on BlablaCar.com is a mix of the ratings your received, the level of completion of your profile, the validity of your email address and your seniority.

Car sharing very much depends on trust. This experience level is a simple and visual way to give to build trust between passengers and drivers.
How do I increase my experience level?
By using BlablaCar regularly, your level will naturally evolve. Your experience on the site will then become valued by the other members. The higher your level, the more likely you will get messages and prompt responses.
- Leave a rating: You’ll most likely get on in return !
- Complete your profile: here is the weight of each category to get to 90%
- your picture : 15% (Everybody prefers to see of a picture of the person they will travel with!)
- your vehicle : 20% (If you don’t have one, click "I don’t have a vehicle")
- your preferences : 20%
- your certified email : 15% (Your email will never be displayed on the site !)
- your address : 15% (Your address will never be displayed on the site !)
- your certified mobile number : 0% For the time being, but will start counting when we enable this fixture
- not using IE6 : 5% (internet explorer 6 dates from 2001 and unable to render our site properly)
Your experience level is re-assessed every day at 1am and can go up as well as down. This way your experience level is always current and is also the result your long term usage of the site
Example : If you add your picture today, you’ll have to wait for the picture to be moderated before your level is re-assessed at 1am.
You will also get an email every time your experience level has changed.
